2017 UTME: JAMB To Release 80,889 Withheld Results


The students’ results were withheld for their alleged involvement in various forms of examination malpractice during the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.  The Registrar of the Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, made the clarification while addressing reporters on Wednesday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.  He said the results would be released after a thorough investigation of the affected candidates and proprietors of computer-based centres who allegedly connived with such students.  Professor Oloyede, who decried the intensity of examination malpractice, noted that JAMB would introduce electronic devices to checkmate the activities of examination fraudsters.


JAMB registrar, professor Ishaq Oloyede has announced that withheld results will be released after a thorough investigation of affected candidates. 
JAMB says the proprietors of some computer-based test centres allegedly connived with with some candidates to perpetrate examination malpractices.
