Sit-At-Home Order: Abia State Police made sure residents were no compel to obey

The police in Abia state say they will ensure there is no breakdown of the law and order following the directive by MASSOB.

The commander gave the assurance earlier today that he will clamp down on any persons or groups intending to compel the residents to stay at home.

The Commissioner of Police, Adeleye Oyebade, told journalists in Umuahia, the state capital, that the directive by MASSOB is an infringement on the fundamental rights of the citizenry and would not be tolerated.
