CAF Champions League: Rangers intensify talks with Air Peace

The management of Rangers International F.C., Enugu, has intensified talks with Air Peace to meet its transportation demand for the 2016/2017 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League mission. The Federal Government has granted permission to the airliner to operate direct services to China and other locations globally, through the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu. Air Peace owners of Peace Airlines is an indigenous carrier recognised by government.
The General Manager of Rangers, Ozor Chibuzor, stated this in Enugu on Sunday that the team’s management had held a series of “successful and progressive talks” with the management of Air Peace especially its Chairman, Chief Allen Onyema. Rangers Rangers “This development is in furtherance to the team’s 2016/2017 CAF Champions League quest and other related freight issues. “However, we have not concluded or dotted the lines on a definite agreement,” he said. The Flying Antelopes ongoing pre-season camping will end before the commencement of the Super 4 Football Tournament on Dec. 7 to be held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. Rangers, who are the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2015/2016 Champions, will be having its first match in the 2016/2017 CAF Champions League in January. The club will also defend its 2015/2016 NPFL title and participate in the 2016/2017 Federation Cup.
